From the years 2009 – 2012, one of AACAF’s earliest activities was the development of e-libraries in rural regions of China. To ensure equal opportunity to education, AACAF raised funds to allow the under-resourced youth of these cities to access the Internet freely for the first time. In 2009, an e-library was built in Xiuqi Middle School in Chongqing Province, China. In 2010, construction on the e-library in Maobo Town Middle School in Chongqing Province, China. In 2011, the construction of the Maobo Town Middle School E-Library was completed. In 2012, an e-Library was constructed at Mianyang Shuanghe Middle School in Chongqing, China.
